Hybrid SAVVY Facilitation is a 2-hour stand-alone workshop that equips you with the confidence and innovative facilitation techniques needed to successfully lead hybrid meetings, use async techniques, ensuring digital inclusion and addressing proximity biases.

To accelerate your hybrid work, digital inclusion is essential which requires awareness of potential in-person biases as well as an overall upgrade of your asynchronous mind- and skillset. This workshop is designed to model a synchronous/asynchronous balance (incorporating async video message and group activity in online Miro board).

In the 2-hour Hybrid SAVVY Facilitation workshop you will learn:

• Overcoming In-Person Bias: Discover strategies to create a level playing field for all participants, regardless of their location.
• Mastering Hybrid Meeting Mechanics: Explore the tools and dynamics that make hybrid meetings effective, during the workshop we will use platforms like Miro and Zoom combined with SAVVY virtual facilitation techniques.
• Facilitating Engaging Hybrid Conversations: Experience and practice various sync and async techniques that foster participation and engagement across both in-person and virtual attendees.
• Enhancing Your Own Hybrid Meetings: Engage in discussions and brainstorm ideas to improve the effectiveness of your hybrid meetings.

This workshop is open to anyone looking to develop or enhance their skills in running and participating in hybrid meetings. 

The Setup & How to Join:

The workshop facilitator will participate virtually, allowing participants to experience first-hand the dynamics of hybrid meeting facilitation. Participants are invited to join either in person, alongside colleagues in a physical meeting room, or join individually from a virtual location. 

Note: This workshop builds on theories and practices from the SAVVY Virtual Facilitator workshop, typically held annually. The next session is scheduled for September 2024.
